Importance of Your Role
Are you passionate about sustainability and interested in how we document our progress in both internal and external reporting? This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our ESG reporting. While climate protection and human rights are prominent topics, Mercedes-Benz is also dedicated to other sustainability issues, such as road safety and data responsibility. You will play a vital role in making our advancements transparent through ESG reporting.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in the development of content for Reporting 2024, ensuring compliance with legal standards for data collection.
- Participating in complex project management initiatives.
- Supporting the coordination of audit processes with external auditors.
- Contributing to the editorial design of reports and strategic documents in collaboration with various departments.
- Monitoring and analyzing relevant regulations and legal frameworks, particularly CSRD and ESRS.
- Assisting in the interpretation of intricate reporting requirements and conducting GAP analyses for the organization.
- Preparing documentation for discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creating presentations that summarize current findings, challenges, and decision-making requirements.
- A degree in law, business administration, or economics with a focus on sustainability management or a related field.
- Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
- Strong skills in MS Office applications.
- Able to quickly adapt to various digital platforms, including project management tools and databases.
- Demonstrated commitment and teamwork abilities.
- Analytical thinking and a strategic approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliability and a curious mindset.
- Genuine enthusiasm for sustainability and reporting initiatives.
Additional Information:
The internship duration is set for 6 months.
