As a key member of the Global Algorithms & Software Semiconductor Mask Solutions team at ZEISS Group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company.

**Your Expertise in Action**

With your sophisticated algorithms, you will evaluate enormous amounts of image data in a highly efficient manner. This will enable our team to deliver high-performance photomask systems, which are essential for manufacturing defect-free microchips.

**Your Key Responsibilities**

Our high-tech measurement systems for semiconductor lithography require extreme precision and automated image evaluation. You will develop highly accurate image processing algorithms and machine learning-based solutions in an interdisciplinary team of experts.

**Your Tasks Will Include:**

  • Conceptual design and state-of-the-art analysis of image processing algorithms
  • Implementation and performance evaluation of machine learning-based solutions
  • Final product maturity and technical steering of complex development projects

**Your Profile**

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with:

  • Very good knowledge of machine learning and classical image processing, as well as good physical and methodological knowledge of geometric and physical optics
  • Intensive practical programming experience with Python, Matlab, and possibly C++, with a preference for parallel computing (CUDA, Cloud systems)
  • Very successfully completed degree in physics, computer science, engineering, or applied mathematics (PhD preferred)
  • 5 years of professional experience as a system developer and practical experience in project management
  • Great passion to successfully solve complex and difficult problems independently and in a team
  • Very good German and English language skills and excellent communication skills
