We are seeking a skilled Welding Engineer - IWE (m/f/d) to enhance our international team with specialized knowledge and experience for our client.

Position Overview:
  • Development of welding technical documentation adhering to industry regulations, technical standards, and client specifications.
  • Guaranteeing compliance with all welding quality benchmarks.
  • Planning and validating welding methodologies.
  • Overseeing and coordinating welding operations in piping construction.
  • Providing training and guidance to welders.
  • Acting as the company representative in welding-related discussions with external parties (inspection organizations, clients, suppliers).
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Certification as an International Welding Engineer (IWE).
  • Non-Destructive Testing certifications, including Radiographic, Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Visual Inspection.
  • Familiarity with general welding standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, communication skills, assertiveness, and a proactive, independent work ethic.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional site assignments both domestically and internationally.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficient in German (minimum B2) and excellent English skills (minimum C1).
