About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our BTP Compliance Engineering team at SAP. As a Data Scientist - AI Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing AI-powered solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Processing and Management: Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, including PDFs and databases, to extract relevant information from compliance documents.
  • Model Training and Evaluation: Assist in the development and fine-tuning of Large Language Models (LLMs) to analyze compliance standards, evaluate model performance, and suggest improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior data scientists and the development team to integrate AI models into the product, and coordinate with compliance experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of provided insights.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated with the latest developments in AI and compliance regulations, participate in training sessions and workshops to further develop technical skills.

Requirements:

  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Interest or preliminary knowledge of compliance standards like GDPR or other regulatory frameworks.
  • Understanding of AI: Basic knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) concepts.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Learning Agility: Demonstrated eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (written and verbal); German language skills are beneficial.
