Join Our Team as a Security Operations Monitoring Specialist
YOUR ROLE:
- As a vital member of the SPO Technical Team focused on Security, you will assist the Security Monitoring Manager in various responsibilities within this field.
- You will engage in the administration of Galileo's SECMON procedures, which encompass security oversight and control tasks executed by the SPO Operational Teams, adhering to established system-level processes and utilizing tools provided by the operational infrastructures.
- Your role will include regulatory and programmatic support, ensuring the verification and oversight of activities conducted by local teams involved in SECMON-related tasks.
- You will collaborate with local EUSPA representatives on daily operations and contribute to both regular and ad-hoc reporting to EUSPA, as well as relevant coordination efforts.
- Your contributions will extend to the validation of operational products and procedures developed by the SPO teams, which may involve participation in system validation or simulation activities.
- You will play a key role in refining analysis processes and defining investigation methodologies and techniques for security incidents.
- Your expertise will be crucial in verifying supporting infrastructures throughout all verification phases conducted by operational teams, analyzing offered capacities, and identifying potential enhancements.
- You will also assist in managing lessons learned processes and engage in anomaly analysis, configuration changes, and operational planning activities.
WHAT WE SEEK:
- Experience in similar roles, preferably within Space or Defence sectors, or in highly security-sensitive commercial environments (e.g., Finance).
- Ideally, familiarity with the Galileo program, particularly knowledge of its specific accreditation processes and methodologies.
- In-depth understanding and experience with methodologies related to security accreditation processes at both national and international levels.
- Proficiency in security risk assessment and management.
- Experience in reviewing security documentation and conducting security inspections.
- Knowledge of technologies pertinent to the cyber-protection of critical IT infrastructures.
- Fluent written and spoken English skills, with additional proficiency in Italian and/or German and/or Spanish being advantageous.
- A strong collaborative spirit, capable of leveraging resources beyond direct supervision.
- Proficiency in standard office automation tools (word processing, spreadsheets, email, Internet, etc.).
