We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our Electrical Commissioning team within the Machining and System Technology Business Unit at GROB.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the seamless integration and operation of our advanced CNC-controlled machine tools and linear portals. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions to both internal production needs and customer projects.
- Commissioning Excellence: You will be responsible for commissioning control systems on our CNC-controlled machine tools and linear portals, both at our factory and at customer sites worldwide.
- Programming Prowess: Your deep understanding of CNC and PLC controllers, HMIs, bus systems, and interfaces to advanced sub-systems will enable you to program and configure these complex systems with precision.
- Continuous Improvement: You will actively adapt and expand control logic, algorithms, and user interfaces, constantly seeking ways to optimize performance and enhance user experience.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: You will possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze and resolve malfunctions effectively. Your troubleshooting skills will be essential in ensuring smooth operation and minimizing downtime.
- Documentation & Collaboration: You will create comprehensive technical documentation and reports, fostering clear communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Customer Focus: You will work closely with customers, project teams, and other departments (such as Engineering) to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
