About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer, Automotive Global to join our team at DP World. As a key member of our IT Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the continued functional development of AOS NextGen, a global application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concentrate on front-end development, ensuring usability and reusability for system users.
  • Understand full-stack development of a global application, including front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Develop new and support current user-facing features, determining page structure and design usability.
  • Perform program design, coding, and development, as well as unit and integration testing.
  • Ability to program applications and integrate complex business logic according to design specifications.
  • Produce high-quality software solutions within time and budget.
  • Closely work with the Analyst Team to create and maintain a cohesive relationship supporting business needs.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in application front-end technologies, including React, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS.
  • Application server knowledge with JBOSS, Tomcat, or Weblogic.
  • PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL development, including stored procedures, triggers, and database performance optimization.
  • Practical use of application reporting tools like JasperSoft or BIRT.
  • Java build process and tools, including Ant or Maven.
  • Fully positive and negative functional testing and verification of application code.
  • Delivering well-documented technical solutions within time, cost, and functionality constraints.
  • Experience with Java IDEs like Intellij or Eclipse.
  • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
