Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Compensation: EUR per year
Requirements:
- Proficiency in a Cloud infrastructure-related environment, with a strong understanding of Cloud infrastructure concepts and Kubernetes functionality
- Experience with deployments of Cloud applications or services
- Basic programming skills, preferably with Go/Golang, are a plus
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform) is a strong asset
Responsibilities:
- Programming primarily in Go within a team of experienced Engineers committed to learning, sharing, and continuous improvement to achieve company goals
- Ongoing maintenance and improvement of our infrastructure, mainly hosted by Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Kubernetes, Istio Service Mesh, Helm, and other technologies
- Administration of our Cloudflare account, including bot detection, firewall rules, and general DNS management
- Optimization and maintenance of Cloud Databases, such as MongoDB Atlas, Google Cloud Spanner, Apache Kafka, and other solutions
- Evaluation of new and existing Cloud technologies and products provided by GCP
- Development of new tools/services or custom Kubernetes resources to automate processes
- Management of Domain SSL certificates
- Support for Backend Engineers regarding infrastructure-related inquiries
