As a Senior Research Scientist within our Ultrasound division at ImFusion, you will engage in client projects, enhance our sophisticated visual computing software framework, and share your expertise with both the team and our clients. This role offers the chance to explore various medical applications and make significant contributions to our framework utilizing Python and C++.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing medical imaging algorithms focused on real-time interventional imaging as part of the Ultrasound team
- Executing multi-modal image segmentation, registration, and reconstruction using both traditional and AI-driven methodologies
- Facilitating the product development of our interventional imaging framework
- Overseeing projects in close cooperation with our industry partners
- Publishing findings and representing our organization at industry conferences
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline
- Proficient programming skills in C++ and Python
- Previous industry experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with medical imaging modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, etc.)
- Applied knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch
- Eager and capable of rapid learning
