Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team at Streicher. As an Asphalt Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our asphalt plants, ensuring that they are running efficiently and producing high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain asphalt plants, including performing routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting equipment issues
• Conduct quality control checks on asphalt products to ensure they meet company standards
• Manage inventory of raw materials and supplies, including ordering and receiving shipments
• Collaborate with production team to optimize plant operations and improve efficiency
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in asphalt plant operation or a related field
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
