Youth Welfare Social Worker

Position: Social Worker (m/f/d) - Youth Welfare
Location: Hagen (Westphalia)
Employment Type: Full-time
Hours: 35 hours per week
We are looking for a compassionate and patient individual who is passionate about assisting young people facing challenges. If you enjoy providing guidance and support, we would be delighted to hear from you. This role is for a Social Worker, Social Pedagogue, or Educator (m/f/d) at a youth facility in Hagen, with the potential for permanent employment with the client.

Your Responsibilities:
- Support and empower young individuals in various aspects of their lives
- Facilitate personal development and integration of youth in daily activities and education
- Maintain a safe environment while providing crisis intervention and conflict resolution
- Document and manage administrative responsibilities
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other social services for comprehensive support
Your Qualifications:
- Completed education or training in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, or a related field
- Experience working with children and adolescents in challenging circumstances
- Familiarity with legal regulations in youth welfare
- Ability to work autonomously and handle demanding situations
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, adaptability, and resilience
- Driver's license and access to a vehicle is advantageous
