Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GmbH. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software and algorithms for embedded (real-time) systems used in autonomous underwater vehicles and their control and test systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze requirements, design software architectures, and develop software components
  • Review, support, integrate, test, and ensure quality of software
  • Continuously improve and maintain existing software
  • Develop new software components
Collaboration and Communication

You will work closely with our internal interfaces from System Engineering, Mechanical Design, and Electronics Development to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in modern software development tools and methodologies
  • Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded systems development
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
