**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement/Sourcing Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to ensure all category sourcing activities are aligned to an agreed set of goals and priorities.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Establish category plans and priorities regionally and ensure alignment with divisional business priorities
* Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure all category sourcing activities are aligned to an agreed set of goals and priorities
* Develop and implement category strategies to drive business value
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and internal customers
* Analyze market trends and make recommendations to improve procurement processes
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in Business or technical field or equivalent combination of experience and education
* Minimum of 7 years procurement/sourcing experience in mid to large multinational companies, with strong category/business engagement experience
* Business sense – knows how to assess market/business requirements dynamics and build agreements that yield meaningful business value
* Influences without authority to empower and lead a cross-functional team in multiple geographies
* Experience in life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred
* Ability to travel 25 to 50%
