About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our Platform Domain team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS. Your focus will be on supporting and enabling team colleagues, as well as being part of the implementation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS, with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Work with the team to identify and resolve infrastructure issues, including debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration with cloud-based applications.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in implementing cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and AWS ECS.
  • Skilled in building CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI.
  • Ability to read code and logs to identify application errors.
  • Competent in diagnosing infrastructure issues and bridging them to related application errors when necessary.
  • Several years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with German as an added advantage.
