Job Overview The Account Manager plays a crucial role in identifying and generating new sales opportunities within Blue Yonder's current client base as well as prospective customers. This position involves cultivating business-owner relationships, comprehending business requirements, and crafting comprehensive account strategies aimed at enhancing Blue Yonder's market presence among both existing and new clients. As individual contributors, they focus on targeting prospects, formulating account-specific sales strategies, and successfully closing new business deals. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary contact for identifying, prioritizing, pursuing, and securing expansion opportunities within both new and existing Blue Yonder clients while maintaining comprehensive relationships with these customers.Develop tailored and strategic account plans to ensure achievement of revenue targets and sustainable growth.Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, managing the sales pipeline, evaluating sales prospects, and advancing multiple transactions concurrently through the sales process.Effectively communicate the status of monthly and quarterly initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders; coordinate internal resources (CSM, SE, etc.) to maximize client value.Foster positive relationships grounded in an understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering value (including expertise, solutions, and implementation support).Gain a thorough understanding of each account's strategic growth objectives, technology initiatives, and competitive landscape. Regularly review public information (e.g., executive appointments, earnings reports, press releases) related to the company and its competitors to stay informed on key industry trends and challenges impacting clients.Develop and maintain actionable account plans to guide strategic development and identify new business opportunities. Lead account relationships, persona profiling, and sales cycles. Oversee all commercial activities within accounts and across various regions, owning the complete relationship and ensuring success.Develop and present a comprehensive business plan that addresses client priorities and challenges. Utilize value justification, benchmarking, and return-on-investment data to facilitate decision-making processes. Possess a solid understanding of all Blue Yonder products and solutions to effectively support clients.Negotiate new contract terms for all SaaS renewals. Qualifications 7+ years of sales experience in enterprise software for a rapidly growing organization.Proven business acumen and expertise in revenue forecasting within an Account Management or Sales Executive capacity.Demonstrated ability to construct and implement strategic customer roadmaps.Proven track record of successfully influencing and negotiating commercial agreements.Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office applications.Familiarity with the Supply Chain industry is essential.Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience is required.Fluency in both German and English is necessary.
