Position: Partner & Process Management Expert - Anticipatory Humanitarian Action
Location: Bonn
This role is designed for immediate fulfillment, with a contract duration of two years. The position is based in Bonn, Germany.
As a member of the Humanitarian Directorate at Welthungerhilfe, you will be part of a Program Management Unit (PMU) that collaborates with a Technical Anticipatory Humanitarian Action Team (TAHAT) to form the Operational Support Unit for an Anticipatory Humanitarian Action Program.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and validate partner contract requirements, ensuring compliance with due diligence assessments.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of partner contracts to meet established regulations and quality standards.
- Manage partner contracts in alignment with both internal and external guidelines.
- Facilitate the input and updating of partner contract data in FundsPro, ensuring consistency with ProMIS.
- Prepare comprehensive partner contract summaries for budget oversight.
- Collaborate with program/project management to maintain accurate financial planning regarding expenditures and liquidity.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and prepare consolidated internal and external partner contract reports in conjunction with program/project management.
- Act as the primary contact for inquiries related to partner contract reports.
- Coordinate with relevant partner contract representatives from participating country offices on contract-related matters.
- Provide operational support in documentation, compliance monitoring, contract management, and reporting to the PMU and partners.
- Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits, implementing necessary improvements.
- Work alongside program/project management to reconcile partner contract data between FundsPro and ProMIS.
- Support the management of finances in accordance with established regulations.
Your Profile:
- A university degree or equivalent commercial training in a relevant discipline such as business administration or financial management.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in contractual and/or financial management of programs.
- Experience managing donor and partner projects/programs is essential.
- Desirable: Several years of international experience in partner contract or financial management.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and willingness to travel to regions with challenging local conditions.
- Proficient in both spoken and written German and English; French language skills are a plus.
