Technical Program Manager

Amazon EU SARL (Germany Branch) is seeking a skilled and business-focused Technical Program Manager to lead the deployment readiness tasks for new automation technologies in our fulfillment network expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support product developers for hardware automation technologies from Concept to Beta Exit Graduation
  • Manage cross-functional partners, deliver critical milestones, and handover a complete 'deployment readiness' package to Robotics Deployment teams
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to increase installation efficiency and deployment costs
  • Validate deliverables and provide feedback to improve deployment readiness for new products
  • Create and deliver KPIs and deployment strategies for large-scale installations globally

A Day in the Life:

  • Validate the design of new technologies
  • Create key deliverables for deployment at scale
  • Measure installation process against baseline KPI
  • Manage project risks and key stakeholders

About the Team:

The Technical Deployment organization is responsible for certifying new technologies as 'ready to be deployed at scale'. The team connects product developers, deployment teams, and operational customers to install new robotics solutions efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules
  • University Degree in Engineering
  • Project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with roadmap strategy and definition
  • Master's degree in Engineering
