Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Product Safety Assistant (m/f/d) to join our Product Safety team in Germany. This role is essential in ensuring the safe utilization of our products while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe application of our products and uphold customer satisfaction through compliance.
  • Independently prepare safety data sheets and manage classification and labeling in accordance with REACH and GHS/CLP regulations.
  • Conduct dangerous goods classification in line with ADR/RID/ADN, IMDG, and IATA-DGR standards.
  • Evaluate and implement marketability restrictions due to regulatory limitations, including Dual Use considerations.
  • Oversee master data management utilizing SAP BOne Hana.
  • Manage the inventory of substances effectively.
  • Provide consultation to both internal and external stakeholders on product stewardship matters.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field; experienced professionals in product stewardship are also encouraged to apply.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in product stewardship or regulatory affairs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CLP regulations, UN-GHS, and the preparation of EU safety data sheets.
  • Proficient in software applications including SDS compilation software (preferably CHEMDOX), SAP BOne Hana, and MS Office.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
