We are seeking a skilled Bridge Inspection Engineer to join our team at Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes, Niederlassung Ost. As a key member of our infrastructure maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and durability of our bridges.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and a passion for bridge inspection and maintenance. Your expertise will be essential in conducting thorough inspections, documenting findings, and making repair recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections of bridges to assess structural integrity and safety compliance
- Document inspection results and provide recommendations for repairs and maintenance
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective bridge maintenance strategies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge construction and inspection
- Knowledge of relevant engineering standards and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to work in various terrain and heights
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends
- Valid driver's license
- Travel within the region may be required
