Lead Financial Accountant

Are you an experienced finance and accounting professional? Join our Finance team at Exocad as a Senior General Ledger Accountant (m/w/d)* and contribute significantly to the management of our financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in accordance with US GAAP
- Assist in the creation of annual financial statements as per HGB regulations
- Execute necessary closing entries including provisions, ARAP, and PRAP
- Generate monthly financial reports for our US subsidiary
- Document monthly account reconciliations using Blackline
- Evaluate business transactions and their appropriate accounting treatment
- Collaborate effectively with the Corporate Accounting Team
- Analyze variances between US GAAP and HGB
- Coordinate intercompany financial transactions
- Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses
- Serve as a point of contact for auditors and tax consultants
- Continuously enhance financial processes to align with company guidelines
- Coordinate financial activities with other departments
- Engage in various projects
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and HGB
- Basic understanding of tax regulations
- Familiarity with SAP, preferably S4 HANA
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Fluency in both German and English
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Ability to work independently and reliably
