Job Title: NDE Engineer - Mechanized Ultrasonic Testing Specialist

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. is seeking a highly skilled NDE Engineer - Mechanized Ultrasonic Testing Specialist to join our innovative team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and qualification of mechanized ultrasonic testing techniques and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and qualification of mechanized ultrasonic testing techniques and systems
  • Prepare technical justifications and inspection procedures
  • Analyze data and document test results in the test laboratory and onsite
  • Prepare and implement training courses for onsite personnel
  • Support the development of technical quotations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Mechatronic, Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering Degree
  • German language, speaking and writing (mother tongue or C2-Level)
  • English language, speaking and writing (min. B2)
  • Open communications/teamwork
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Germany/Europe
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in mechanized ultrasonic inspections on pipe or nozzle welds (preferred, but not mandatory)
  • UT Level 2 (preferred, but not mandatory), candidate for certification to Level 3
  • French in speaking and writing (optional)
