Position: Maintenance Planner (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities

The Maintenance Planner will oversee the creation and management of maintenance schedules, maintain essential data in the maintenance database, and ensure the smooth operation of machinery and facilities.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Planning
    • Formulate and execute thorough maintenance strategies for equipment and facilities
    • Draft comprehensive work instructions and protocols for maintenance activities
  • Data Management
    • Ensure precise master data is maintained in the maintenance database, encompassing equipment records and maintenance logs
  • Scheduling
    • Develop and oversee maintenance timelines to guarantee timely task execution
    • Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance work, minimizing operational interruptions
  • Work Order Management
    • Create, prioritize, and manage work orders for maintenance tasks
    • Ensure work orders are comprehensive and monitor their progress
  • Resource Allocation
    • Distribute resources (technicians, tools, spare parts) to facilitate successful task completion
    • Monitor personnel availability and modify plans as necessary
  • Documentation
    • Keep meticulous records of maintenance activities and ensure documentation is accurate and readily accessible
Your Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering, maintenance management, or a related discipline; alternatively, an apprenticeship or vocational training in maintenance management
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning or a similar role within a manufacturing context
  • Proficiency with Maintenance Management Systems and best practices in maintenance is essential
  • Familiarity with maintenance processes and systems in a manufacturing setting
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies
  • Strong organizational skills to manage various tasks and priorities
  • Ability to create and oversee detailed maintenance schedules and work orders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with diverse departments
  • Capability to coordinate maintenance efforts and ensure task completion
  • Fluent in both business English and German
