For our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, we are seeking dedicated professionals for the role of Stakeholder Engagement Advisor.

Your Responsibilities:
The Central Research & Technology (R&T) division is a global entity within Airbus that conducts innovative research projects across various technological domains. This team, composed of highly qualified scientists and project leaders, is committed to advancing the future of aerospace by developing cutting-edge technologies for the next generation of Airbus aircraft in collaboration with esteemed academic and scientific institutions.

The position encompasses a diverse range of roles and responsibilities, including the formulation of advocacy strategies, stakeholder analysis, content development, and ongoing assessment of stakeholder engagement initiatives.

The successful candidate will operate as a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor (f/m/d) within the Central R&T team, reporting directly to the head of Central R&T. This role involves close collaboration with the Corporate Communications department, particularly with the Technology, Engineering, and Product Decarbonisation Communication team. The advisor will be tasked with fostering impactful communication within the Central R&T department while ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and branding guidelines.

Main Deliverables:

  • Development of advocacy strategies that identify target audiences, establish key messages, and align with business objectives and corporate communication strategies.
  • Creation and contribution to various content types, including technical articles, presentations, speeches, and social media posts, as well as online communications and event materials.
  • Coordination of speaking engagement plans for Central R&T executives in collaboration with the Engineering and Technology Communication team.
  • Provision of timely communication guidance and solutions to Central R&T personnel.
  • Management of Airbus communication processes and guidelines to ensure compliance among internal teams.
  • Evaluation of advocacy activities to measure effectiveness and derive insights for future initiatives.
  • Planning and reporting on stakeholder engagement activities.

Required Competencies:

  • Ability to design and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency in crafting clear and compelling messages tailored to specific audiences.
  • Expertise in storytelling that resonates with target audience needs and expectations.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams and analyzing project outcomes.
  • Support for strategic change initiatives through effective communication.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Advanced technical education (Master's degree or equivalent).

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of four years of experience in developing and executing stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, with a solid understanding of contemporary business communication practices.
  • Experience in academic research, engineering, or emerging technologies is advantageous.

IT Skills:

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in English is essential, with strong writing skills.
  • Knowledge of German is a plus.

Knowledge Areas:

  • Interest in innovative technologies related to electrification, materials science, communication technologies, artificial intelligence, and quantum technologies.
  • Understanding of the aerospace industry and Airbus operations is beneficial.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Airbus communication best practices is preferred.
