Role OverviewYour Contributions
- Conducting price negotiations and engaging various service providers based on economic and logistical considerations.
- Managing freight procurement from both external and internal service providers across air, sea, and road transport.
- Coordinating the allocation of personnel and resources in collaboration with clients.
- Overseeing supplier management and ensuring smooth logistics operations.
- Preparing necessary freight and customs documentation.
- Drafting quotes and managing invoicing processes.
- Monitoring incoming invoices for accuracy.
- Facilitating communication with clients and service providers in both written and verbal formats.
Essential Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in business management (m/f/d) for forwarding and logistics services or equivalent logistics education.
- Some experience in international shipping, including the preparation and handling of relevant customs and freight documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
- A strong executor with the ability to collaborate effectively while demonstrating a high level of personal accountability.
- Independent worker characterized by goal-oriented and proactive work habits with a strong sense of self-motivation.
