Sustainability Operations Manager

Overview: The Sustainability Operations Manager for PENTAX Medical EMEA will be responsible for the development and maintenance of an environmental management framework in accordance with ISO standards. This role requires a deep understanding of environmental considerations and will provide guidance to the EMEA Business Units on all relevant environmental obligations. Additionally, this position will facilitate collaboration with the Global Team regarding environmental regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement necessary processes and protocols to achieve ISO 14001 compliance.
- Integrate the Environmental Management System (EMS) with the overarching Quality Management System (QMS).
- Oversee the certification process for ISO 14001.
- Ensure systematic collection of key performance metrics.
- Serve as the primary contact for external EMS audits.
- Provide training to personnel on environmental procedures.
- Assist EMEA Business Units with local environmental regulations.
- Act as the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) owner for environmental-related issues.
- Support occupational safety initiatives within the organization.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the ONE QMS in the EMEA region.
Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field.
- Several years of relevant professional experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of environmental standards and regulations (both national and international).
- Proficiency in standard management tools.
- Excellent skills in facilitation, communication, and presentation.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
