Your Responsibilities

- As a Tax Consultant / Corporate Tax Manager (m/f/d), you will engage in a wide range of responsibilities within corporate tax law.
- We provide comprehensive advice to publicly traded corporations and family businesses on all aspects of tax law.
- Your primary focus will be on income tax law, including corporate tax, trade tax, transformation tax, balance sheet tax, as well as international tax and double taxation law.
- The advisory scenarios are diverse, ranging from ongoing tax consulting (individual inquiries and tax compliance) to tax planning (expert opinions and binding rulings) and defense consulting during audits and legal proceedings (objections, lawsuits).
- Your role in Corporate Tax is broad, and you will collaborate closely with various specialized departments within our firm, as well as with KPMG offices abroad.
- Managers in Corporate Tax are deeply involved in client management, allowing you to establish your identity as a consulting professional early on. A secure, approachable, and professional demeanor with clients and colleagues is essential.
- To become a Tax Consultant / Corporate Tax Manager (m/f/d) with us, you should possess a strong academic background in economics, law, finance, business informatics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Ideally, you have three or more years of practical experience in tax consulting.
- A passion for tax law, meticulousness, and curiosity are key traits that define you.
- You enjoy communicating with clients and colleagues and approach new situations with flexibility and openness.
- You are proficient in both German and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
