Job Description

Our client is a leading online comparison platform in Germany, specializing in digital insurance solutions that simplify the process of comparing and buying various types of insurance from different providers. They aim to improve customer satisfaction and promote financial understanding in the insurance industry.

Position:

Junior Android Developer InsurTech

Location:

Hamburg, Germany (on-site, full-time, permanent)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new features independently and collaborate closely with product managers.
  • Analyze technical requirements alongside the product management team.
  • Ensure quality and functionality through unit and integration testing.
  • Participate actively in code reviews for knowledge sharing.
  • Integrate modern backend services and expand UI toolkits.
  • Enhance user experience, particularly on mobile devices, to meet customer needs.
  • Receive guidance from experienced Senior/Lead Developers for complex tasks.
Requirements:
  • Solid knowledge and practical experience in a programming language, with a keen interest in expanding their skills.
  • Habit of reviewing documentation before implementing functions.
  • Preference for embracing new challenges over repetitive tasks.
  • Enjoyment of fast-paced development within a professional setting.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, comfortable seeking assistance when necessary.
  • Proficiency in German, both written and spoken, at least at C1 level.
