Product Manager for Insurance and Credit Cards

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our team at Barclays Consumer Bank Europe. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and management of our insurance products, including credit card insurance and loan payment protection for unforeseen events (PPI).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage our product portfolio with a focus on PPI and insurance for credit cards
  • Ensure products meet customer needs, align with regulatory requirements, and support the overall retail banking strategy
  • Conduct market screenings and competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the retail banking and insurance sectors
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, marketing, compliance, and operations teams, suppliers to ensure the successful delivery and promotion of products
  • Analyze product performance, customer feedback, and sales data to refine strategies and improve product offerings
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management within retail banking, insurance, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of retail banking products, credit protection insurance, and regulatory requirements within the financial services industry
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
