Join Our Team as an Electrochemical Process Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at the Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology IGB. As an electrochemical process researcher, you will be involved in the development of sustainable green transition methods for industrial chemical production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on electrochemical cells and their applications
  • Prepare electrodes containing active catalysts and evaluate their electrochemical performance
  • Correlate raw materials, operating parameters, and production rates
  • Evaluate and discuss results with the team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in electrochemistry, organic/inorganic synthesis, material characterization, and analytics is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
