About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SCADA Support Team Lead to join our team at Vestas. As a key member of our Plant Technical Support NCE department, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical experts in providing high-quality support to our Service organizations in Northern and Central Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of technical experts in providing direct support to service technicians, remote troubleshooting, and software uploads.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve technical support processes and reduce windfarm downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to meet customer expectations.
  • Participate in change management and process improvement initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Act as a deputy to the Manager, Plant Technical Support NCE, as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, preferably in the wind industry.
  • Proven track record of leading teams, developing their skills, and providing support in their daily tasks.
  • Experience in change management, process improvement, and technical knowledge of SCADA solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a Nordic team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and experience with SAP or Sales Force is beneficial.
