About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Architect to join our team at the BMW Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing AI enabling infrastructure and architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop essential AI enabling infrastructure and architecture
- Establish hardware and software platforms for highly efficient, domain-specific AI stacks
- Ensure consistency and maximize synergies between AI applications on different integration platforms
- Leverage the newest AI technologies, including foundation models, transformer architectures, and end-to-end-learning networks
- Set goals, priorities, and roadmaps for AI systems, and design the architecture for onboard and offboard AI systems
- Support the planning, control, and coordination of all AI-related topics to enable independent and efficient work in the involved teams
- Develop a data strategy that aligns with the AI systems
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, mathematics, or related subjects
- Expert knowledge in software development processes, with experience in the automotive environment
- Expert experience in artificial intelligence, including classical machine learning, GenAI, and ADAS computer vision
- Business fluent knowledge of German and English (written and spoken)
