Position Overview

As an intern at SEW USOCOME, you will engage in the development and design of components and subsystems for mobile robots specifically tailored for urban logistics applications. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assessing requirements for mobile robots operating in outdoor settings.
  • Designing vehicle components based on the identified specifications.
  • Creating designs that are suitable for manufacturing processes.
  • Assembling and commissioning prototypes and functional models.
  • Documenting all findings and results from your work.
  • Contributing to ongoing development projects.
Qualifications Required

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Understanding of component sizing and design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive and independent work ethic.
