Key Responsibilities
- Assess operational and maintenance needs during equipment specification and procurement processes.
- Engage in the commissioning and transition of new machinery, emphasizing preventive maintenance.
- Ensure equipment adheres to Availability and Performance metrics (OEE) while consulting on quality standards.
- Oversee and execute repairs, software updates, and manage supplier and contractor relationships.
- Maintain high data quality from machinery for effective SPC management.
- Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) within factory IT systems and verify SPC alerts and reporting.
- Manage critical spare parts inventory and ensure prompt execution of maintenance tasks.
- Lead responses to unexpected shutdowns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent vocational training and further education.
- 3-5 years of experience in equipment management within manufacturing, ideally in the automotive or aerospace industries.
- Strong expertise in mechanical design with a focus on manufacturing systems.
- Proficient in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
- Excellent organizational abilities for managing various tasks and priorities.
- Capable of managing a diverse array of manufacturing equipment, including fixtures and machinery.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
- Fluent in English with business-level proficiency in German.
