The Opportunity
ZEISS presents a unique chance to realign global business processes and prepare the entire organization for the future. Currently, approximately 14,000 employees utilize existing SAP ERP systems, processing over 50 million transactions monthly.
Our goal is to standardize and streamline various ERP systems from multiple companies within the group during the transition from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA. We aim to align closely with SAP standards and harmonize processes across all segments and regions where feasible, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, speed, flexibility, and compliance.
This project is both exciting and complex. FIT4 serves as a crucial lever in executing the Company's strategic agenda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze regional and segment-specific business requirements for the global SAP S/4HANA template through local fit-gap analyses under the guidance of deputy and hub process owners.
- Drive the adaptation of end-to-end business processes towards FIT4 goals of harmonization and standardization, collaborating with entity business experts on preparatory tasks such as data cleansing.
- Develop process maps and models to illustrate the adapted business processes.
- Define and implement the Cut-Over strategy with a focus on data migration and role setup to ensure a seamless transition.
- Design and manage test cases, conducting functional end-to-end tests within the SAP S/4HANA system.
- Actively contribute to the roll-in of assigned projects within a region, primarily within a segment, and potentially across SBUs/segments as directed by the regional hub lead.
- Assist in creating training materials and, if necessary, provide end-user training under the coordination of the training lead.
- Possess 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrate experience with the SAP SD module.
- Have a deep understanding of at least one end-to-end business process (Lead-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Engineer-to-Order, Service-to-Customer, Plan-to-Produce, Inbound-to-Outbound, Record-to-Report, and specialty areas like Quality Management or Master Data Management).
- Exhibit proven experience in business requirements management and business process design.
- Have experience with SAP R/3 and ideally SAP S/4HANA, along with relevant third-party business systems.
- Possess relevant industry knowledge.
- Demonstrate excellent conceptual, results-oriented, and communication skills.
