By designing products digitally and manufacturing on demand, we enhance our unique selling proposition through personalization, catering to athletes of all genders and sports. We craft digital experiences and services tailored to the specific requirements of teams, ensuring engagement from millions of athletes who connect with our brand in team sports. Linking teams to their uniforms is merely the initial phase, as we aim to expand growth across categories with products for every athlete's gym bag. This role assists the Director of Global Team Sports Product in delivering a comprehensive, world-class product offering and the corresponding go-to-market strategy for the team business across global business units and markets. This position will collaborate with global business units to outline the future product range and implement it digitally on the LockerRoom platform. Close cooperation with the creation triad (marketing, design, development), merchandising, configuration vendors, and sourcing is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate customization product requirements for uniforms, training, and sideline across markets and global business units.
  • Translate knowledge in team customization and personalization to global business units (e.g., commercial aspects of pricing, margins, sizes, colors, materials, embellishments, 3D visualization).
  • Facilitate a cohesive range and efficient customization product offering across categories for on-field team uniforms, sideline, and training in close partnership with global business units.
  • Assist in developing a comprehensive merchandising strategy for customization team products across categories.
  • Coordinate seasonal and annual product offering lists and align with customization sourcing counterparts.
  • Oversee and ensure complete upstream product readiness for digital product launches on the LockerRoom platform.
  • Evaluate the competitive landscape and benchmark our adidas offerings.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Deep understanding and genuine enthusiasm for team sports.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, solution-oriented mindset, and results-driven approach.
  • Proven ability to achieve results with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in product management and/or merchandising.
  • Proficient in systems knowledge (M-3, RMA, MicroStrategy, SharePoint, Smartsheet).
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in cross-functional marketing, merchandising, and/or sales.
  • Experience in customizable products is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Proficient in PC skills (MS Office programs, particularly PowerPoint and Excel).
