About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Swisslog, a leading provider of logistics solutions. As a Controls Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of electrical hardware for our light goods conveyor systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical schemas for light goods conveyor systems in accordance with EN 60204 and Swisslog standards using ePLAN P8.
- Define control cabinets according to Swisslog design standards for purchasing and perform acceptance at supplier.
- Develop and maintain product standards in alignment with tools, templates, and standard documentation.
- Support colleagues in the project proposal process for electrical hardware scope.
- Participate in on-site erection for electrical hardware scope.
- Prepare specifications and documentation in German and English.
Requirements
- Completed studies in electrical engineering or successfully completed training as a technician.
- Professional experience in electrical design for intralogistics systems or comparable industrial sectors.
- Sound knowledge of electrical planning with CAD systems, preferably with EPLAN Electric P8.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with new technologies.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills.
- Independent and structured work style with strong team collaboration skills.
