Your Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the field of digital transformation for renewable energy systems. As a key member of our research group, you will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative digital solutions to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of a sophisticated data framework for cloud-based services, focusing on renewable energy systems like hydrogen and battery storage.
- Apply FAIR data principles to enhance data management and accessibility across the project, establishing a robust infrastructure for data sharing and utilization.
- Work collaboratively with project partners to integrate digital artifacts into a comprehensive validation framework, ensuring best practices in data validation and tool maturity are met.
- Design and deploy enterprise-grade software components for monitoring and optimizing renewable energy technologies, leveraging expertise in engineering, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.
- Develop and synergize metadata and ontologies, crafting a first-generation recommendation model for a metadata marketplace, enhancing data interoperability across platforms.
Your Profile:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced researcher with a strong background in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, computer science, or a closely related field. You should have a proven track record of programming skills, particularly in Python, Django, or similar frameworks, with a robust understanding of data extraction and machine learning models.
