Join Mercedes-Benz Group AG, a leader in the automotive industry, as an intern in our Drive Application department. This position focuses on the development and testing of software solutions for driveability and engine coordination in hybrid vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in collaborative projects within the development team.
- Conduct and analyze Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) tests, preparing findings for departmental review.
- Adjust and validate test scenarios on designated test vehicles.
- Utilize Vector CANape and MATLAB for measurement analysis and evaluation.
- Innovate new evaluation techniques to enhance control of electric motors, transmissions, and combustion engines.
- Manage software project versions using GitHub.
- Prepare and present results regularly to stakeholders.
- Update control units within the powertrain systems.
- Support daily operational tasks within the team.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C, Java, Python, or MATLAB is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Structured approach to work, demonstrating reliability and commitment to goals.
