Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biostatistics Director to lead our Biometrics department and drive strategic direction for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a team of statisticians, data managers, and programmers to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Strategic Direction: Create, align, and execute the strategic direction for the Biometrics department in line with company objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Statistical Guidance: Provide statistical guidance in designing clinical development plans and protocols, and establish long-term solutions for data internalization, management, storage, and archiving.
  • Project Oversight: Supervise the planning and execution of statistical and data management activities for clinical trials, real-world evidence studies, non-clinical research, and other R&D initiatives.
  • Statistical Contributions: Actively contribute as a statistician on select projects, ensuring accurate, high-quality, and timely delivery of statistical analyses and data management outputs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and lead the preparation and review of statistical sections for regulatory submissions.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate complex statistical concepts and findings to non-statisticians across various departments.
  • Innovation: Drive continuous innovation and improvement within the team and the department.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree / PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or similar.
  • Industry Experience: Sound knowledge of biostatistics and data management within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills and project management experience.
  • Statistical Programming: Extensive industry experience and statistical programming skills.
  • Language: Fluent English.
