Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join our esteemed organization. This role involves a comprehensive approach to financial reporting and tax matters within our corporate structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements: You will be responsible for the meticulous preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB standards.
  • Consolidation Entries: Conduct consolidation entries to effectively integrate the financial outcomes of our subsidiary entities.
  • International Communication: Engage in effective communication with our subsidiaries located in Asia, the USA, and Europe.
  • Financial Reporting: Create and review detailed financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Balance Sheet and Income Statement Analysis: Analyze balance sheet discrepancies and income statements to identify areas for improvement.
  • Software Optimization: Continuously enhance our consolidation software to improve efficiency.
  • Collaboration with Auditors: Work closely with auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Tax Assessment: Assess and manage various tax-related matters effectively.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Professional Experience: Several years of experience in auditing, tax consultancy, or corporate accounting within an international environment.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Proficient understanding of HGB and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Tax Law Understanding: A solid grasp of tax regulations and compliance.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office, SAP FI, and SAP BCS.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a process-oriented mindset.
  • Work Ethic: Independent, responsible, and detail-oriented work approach.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential.
