BorgWarner Aftermarket Europe GmbH is looking for a results-oriented Global Product Line Manager (m/f/d)In this role, reporting to the Director of Program Management, Aftermarket, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy for our product range to achieve revenue and margin goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS
- Manage the entire product life cycle, including product range, new applications, deletions, supersessions, packaging, and cataloguing.
- Act as the product expert, supporting sales efforts through customer visits to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop business cases for range extensions, sales quotes, and new product launches.
- Collaborate with data management, packaging engineering, purchasing, and logistics to facilitate New Product Introduction.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure efficient processes and alignment with business objectives in line with the global product strategy.
- Analyze global competitive positioning in collaboration with local Sales & Marketing teams.
- Formulate pricing strategies in conjunction with the pricing manager and sales representatives.
- Work with the Aftersales Marketing team to ensure effective product positioning and communication throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support local sales efforts by training sales and marketing personnel on product features and benefits.
- Provide product-specific literature and launch materials, and create product presentations.
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree, MBA, or Engineering Degree; Project Management Certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of economics.
- In-depth knowledge of Emission Products.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Several years of extensive experience in the aftermarket sector of the automotive supplier industry.
- Excellent presentation skills with an analytical and assertive mindset.
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks with a strong results-driven approach.
- Flexibility to work within a matrix organization and build strong internal networks.
- Proficient in written and spoken English, with a good command of the German language.
