Cyber Security Team Leader

Your Responsibilities

- Evaluate and advise organizations on IT security, manage security projects, and develop new services and areas of focus.
- Conduct IT vulnerability assessments and risk evaluations of information security incidents, while enhancing internal security methodologies and standards.
- Create security frameworks, perform audits, and oversee the organization-wide implementation of security management systems in accordance with established standards.
- Implement measures, lead awareness campaigns, and manage emergency response systems.
- Introduce and optimize concepts and processes within access management.
- Act as the primary contact for our clients, leading projects and teams, representing the team's outcomes, and facilitating client meetings.
- Support business and thematic development initiatives at KPMG.
- Engage actively in acquiring new clients.
- Contribute significantly to the growth of the Cyber Security division through the acquisition of new clients and the development of existing ones.
- Team building and personnel management will also be part of your responsibilities.
- To become a (Senior) Cyber Security Manager (w/m/d) with us, you should hold a degree in (Business) Informatics, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
- You possess several years of professional experience in IT security or IT security management within a reputable consulting firm or an industrial organization.
- You have in-depth knowledge of Cyber Security and relevant experience in integrating organizational and technical IT security aspects.
- Your focus is on security management according to established standards, security frameworks, firewall architectures, and security awareness.
- Experience with security requirements is advantageous for your role.
- You demonstrate teamwork, client orientation, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ideally, you hold certifications such as BSI Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISSP, CISA, or CISM, or you are motivated to obtain them.
- Strong project management skills and proficiency in both German and English are essential.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility complete your qualifications.
