About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at Contabo GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop efficient and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using Golang and Linux.
  • Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of our platform.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Work closely with our QA team to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
Requirements
  • Strong programming skills in Golang, with experience in cloud infrastructure development.
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux and Windows-based systems, with experience in troubleshooting and managing complex systems.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines using Gitlab or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of relational database management administration and optimization using Postgres and/or CockroachDB.
  • Experience in deploying applications, debugging, and managing clusters in OpenShift and/or Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with Python and Ansible for automation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
