Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect to support the growth of our high-power charging network for electric vehicles in Germany and other European countries.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the rollout of our Ultra Fast Electric Vehicle Charging network in the UK and wider European region, ensuring timely, high-quality, and budget-friendly execution.
- Develop and implement site concept designs, ensuring planning permit applications are submitted efficiently.
- Design and define the layout of our future IONITY charging stations, taking into account ground investigation surveys and land title boundaries.
- Manage a team of suppliers and sub-contractors to enable concept designs, including ground investigation works and planning permit applications.
- Oversee the work package of designers, ensuring detailed civil and electrical engineering design is completed for each site.
- Provide comprehensive reporting to the Management Team on the status of design roll-out and planning permit applications.
- Qualified architect with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Proficient in using CAD software.
- Able to commission and interpret ground investigation surveys.
- Skilled in producing 3D renders.
- Good understanding of land conditions and civil works.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, working practices, and codes of practice, including CDM.
- Excellent project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of designing infrastructure/building projects on time and on budget, with the ability to develop, refine, and manage comprehensive site diligence.
- Experience working with private and public property owners and process management of obtaining necessary approvals and permitting authorities.
- Target-oriented work style, pragmatic problem-solving skills, and high ability to communicate and negotiate successfully.
- Self-motivated, works with initiative, and has an interest in the decarbonisation of transport.
- Full clean driver's license.
