Job Title: Powertrain Mechatronics Internship

Job Description:
In the field of Powertrain Mechatronics, we offer thesis projects (Bachelor's and Master's theses) in the scientific field of Thermal Engineering/Internal Combustion Engines. Our team is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to contribute to our research and development efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and analyze spark-ignition and self-ignition engine combustion processes
- Develop and implement models for spark-ignition engine mixture formation with complex MPI and DI injection systems
- Analyze and optimize spark-ignition engine emission and efficiency behavior
- Design and test variable ignition, valve train, and boosting systems
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a university in the field of Mechanical Engineering or Vehicle Engineering, specializing in Piston Engines, Fluid Machinery, Automotive Engineering, Technical Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, or Thermal Process Engineering
- Solid theoretical knowledge and good practical skills (experimental operation, measurement technology, engine control systems)
- High commitment and ability to acquire new skills
Desired Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in German or English at C1 level
