This role plays a crucial part in developing and maintaining our testing setup, ensuring the quality and consistency of our output. You'll work closely with our linguists to create scalable systems for quality assurance and internal tools to streamline our processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery configurations (GitLab) for development and testing pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and efficient testing.
- Maintain and extend our testing environment for linguistic quality assurance, incorporating improved corpus testing and adapting to the flexibility of language.
- Develop and maintain tools to streamline linguistic development, reducing processing time and avoiding regressions.
- Develop and maintain regression tests that interact with linguistic components of our software, increasing test coverage and improving our tests.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Computational Linguistics a plus).
- Experience with Kubernetes and Linux.
- Experience with Python.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (RobotFramework, etc.) and continuous integration (especially GitLab).
- Experience with AWS (S3, RDS, Lambda, boto).
- Knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Professional fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Java.
- XSLT.
