Job Summary

As a Technical Operations Manager at Safran Engineering Services, you will be responsible for leading a team of 8 mechanics and 1 logistician to support the execution of on-site support for Airbus on Leap-1A engines. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient execution of maintenance operations, forecasting, and planning of resources to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of mechanics and logisticians to ensure the efficient execution of maintenance operations.
  • Forecast and plan resources to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure the availability of parts and chemicals as needed and on time.
  • Maintain accurate records of time and attendance.
  • Redeploy staff as required to support daily execution.
  • Ensure adherence to company and local HSE policies.
  • Ensure quality standards are met in all aspects of team performance.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and completed.
  • Update staff skills matrices and ensure all compulsory training requirements are current.

Requirements

  • University degree in a technical field plus 8 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Aircraft Engines maintenance knowledge.
  • Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • IT literate with basic understanding of Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, French, and/or German.
  • Previous management experience in a close-to-customer environment.
  • Knowledge of MRP systems (SAP; BAAN) and Airbus processes and systems is a plus.
