Position Title: Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Student Intern

Company Overview: LANXESS is a prominent specialty chemicals organization dedicated to the development and production of chemical intermediates, additives, specialty chemicals, and advanced plastics. Our workforce comprises over 13,000 dedicated professionals committed to making a significant impact across various sectors.

Role Overview:

  • Assist the Plant Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering and Maintenance Team in their daily operations.
  • Contribute to the implementation of smaller-scale projects.
  • Engage in Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs) and provide support for routine maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program focused on Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Some prior experience in chemical manufacturing environments, particularly in electrical and instrumentation roles.
  • Understanding of functional safety principles.
  • Apprenticeship experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in both German and English languages.
