Your new position - Quality Assurance Engineer
Embrace the chance to significantly influence a leading product in the enterprise AI domain.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, your role is crucial in ensuring that our team delivers top-notch products at Cognigy.
This position primarily supports the Engineering team in identifying issues early through comprehensive testing.
Your responsibilities:
- Thoroughly testing upcoming product releases to guarantee they are free of bugs, stable, and high-performing.
- Creating and executing test plans and detailed test cases based on specifications and/or customer insights and priorities.
- Collaborating closely with our development teams during sprints for bug resolution and validation (regression testing).
- Documenting your findings in a clear and organized manner to assist in their resolution.
- For senior candidates, mentoring and providing training support to junior team members.
Qualifications
About you
- Proven experience in testing web applications and exploratory testing.
- Familiarity with agile software development practices.
- Knowledge of test automation and testing tools.
- Experience with at least one version control system (such as Git).
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Development Testing Cycle (SDTC).
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable.
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Consistent, organized, and analytical problem-solver.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team.
- Preferred: ISTQB certification.
