Lead Engineer for Electrical Projects

RLE Engineering & Services GmbH is seeking a Project Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering (m/f/d) for a direct placement opportunity with a valued partner.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the planning and management of electrical and control systems for conveyor technology.
- Prepare and present the electrical and control components of proposals for large-scale conveyor systems to clients.
- Facilitate technical coordination and provide expert advice to both internal teams and external partners regarding all E-technology elements from proposal to commissioning.
- Engage in negotiations and collaborations with international clients and subcontractors within the electrical and control engineering sector.
- Monitor subcontractors involved in electrical and control engineering, ensuring quality assurance and conducting acceptance testing.
- Lead assembly and commissioning activities at construction sites, particularly in international locations.
- Participate in specialized tasks such as R&D initiatives (e.g., IIoT) or conducting industrial assessments.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience.
- Proven experience in pricing and offering electrical components.
- Strong understanding of the electrical components market and suppliers, alongside relevant international standards in mechanical and plant engineering.
- Familiarity with IIoT and digitalization, as well as programming expertise in industrial controllers (PLC and DCS).
- Willingness to relocate and travel internationally as required.
- Proficient in MS Office, including MS Visio; knowledge of AutoCAD and VBA is a plus.
- Excellent command of English at C1 level and proficient in German, both spoken and written.
